Kukup, near the southwestern tip of the peninsula, 20km from Pontian, is a traditional fishing village with most of its houses built on stilts. It is famous for its fish farms and seafood several popular restaurants that serve famous local delicacies such as crabs, fish and shrimp.
Visitors can also take a trip to nearby aquaculture center to see many types of fish and shellfish that are raised in captivity, as the king crab. The center of aquaculture at sea kelongs, which are built on farm structures such as floating raft in the ocean.
