Johor Bahru City the Capital of Johor State in Malaysia. Johor Bahru is the southernmost city in the mainland of Eurasia, and Pasir Pelangi is located within Johor Bahru city center. With a population of approximately 900,000 in the city, and more than 1.8 million in its metropolitan area, is the second largest urban area in the country after the country’s capital, Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley region partners. The total population of Singapore-Johor Bahru conurbation is 6.5 million, which is one of the highest in Southeast Asia. Johor Bahru is located within walking distance of Singapore, and receives more than 60% of the annual 16 million foreign tourists via its bridges and roads in Singapore. The city is an important industrial, tourism and commercial center for southern Malaysia and one of the largest industrial centers of the country. The population growth rate of Johor Bahru is one of the highest in Southeast Asia.

Nusajaya Malaysia – the world in one city
The West of Johor Bahru, also known as Nusajaya City. Nusajaya is a regional city and once completed will be the focus of the new administration of Johor, Malaysia. The city is currently under construction, with some housing phases already completed and in progress. It is located west of Johor Bahru, near the town of Gelang Patah. When completed, it will be a restoration of the city fully integrated business, life and leisure.

Nusajaya is a key component of the Southern Johor Economic, with 24,000 acres (97 km ²) of contiguous land is the single largest privately-owned land ownership of land in Southeast Asia.

The Northern-Eastern outskirts of Johor Bahru is the commercial and business zone of Johor, gathering with all Banking Sectors & Offices especially at the area of Johor Jaya as well as Taman Molek.

The main road, Jalan Johor Jaya, connects all phases except Rosmerah. Johor Jaya is accessible through the bus service 18 and 225. The seven sections of Taman Johor Jaya were built in phases, starting in 1987 Anggerek – Dedap – Keembong – Seroja – Teratai – Bakawali – Rosmerah.

The shopping area is in Jalan Dedap, and includes the local popular Seasion cake shop and restaurant Steamboat. There is also the Johor Jaya popular sports complexes, bowling alley and several golf courses nearby, including his own Daiman 18 Club.

A novel food center, Family Food Center, was built in 2004 along Jalan Dedap 14. There are several common types of Malaysian cuisine served in this food center. Among others, Nasi Lemak, Nasi Ambang, Ajau Nasi, Nasi Campur and various types of noodles. A new mega neighbors, Jusco Tebrau City, was built in 2005 along Tebrau Highway. Neighbors include Giant Hypermarket and Carrefour in Plentong along Tebrau Highway, just south of Jusco. The new community mosque, Masjid Al-Taqwa, which was built in 2009, is located along Jalan Dedap 10. Johor Jaya new police station is Rosmerah.
